  • PT Pacific Nugrasegara was founded, marketing transparent soap to mass market that reached as far as Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, and USA.
  • PT Totalcare was founded as a direct selling company that leveraged the intimate relationship between the Company and its distributors.



  • PT Total Citra Jaya Mandiri was founded to market health supplement to mass market. The company obtained a license to distribute various health supplements under the ‘Total Image’ brand, including Ester-C, which immediately became a market success. 



  • The two direct-selling companies (PT Multiway and PT Totalcare) were merged into a stronger company PT Multicare Mitra Sejahtera.
  • PT Indocare Citrapasific was founded as a holding company.


  • PT Citrasemesta Asrisejati (CSAS) was founded to manufacture personal care and transparent soap, ensuring the consistency of product quality and timely delivery.



  • PT Total Citra Jaya Mandiri that marketed health supplement to mass market was renamed to PT Totalcare Nutraceutical in order to more appropriately reflect the products marketed.
  • The Institutional Marketing Division was founded to capitalize on the potential of B2B market. With the support by CSAS and other partners, the division served Indocare-owned companies as well as external customers.



  • Indocare first applied International Organization for Standardization (ISO 9001:2000) to ensure consistency in quality and improve customer satisfaction. The certificate has been renewed to ISO 9001: 2008. 



  • Indocare Management applied Balanced Score Card (BSC) system in order to translate the mission, vision and strategies into the initiatives and action plan of every employee.


  • CSAS obtained Good Cosmetics Manufacturing Practices (GCMP), which ensures that the products are manufactured under rigid care and safety measures. 


  • CSAS obtained halal certification
